Write what only you should know

Every contact in DayMoz has a notes tab. Write anything, then decide exactly who gets to see it.

Three visibility levels

🔒 Private: only you

Encrypted on your device before it reaches the server. Nobody else can read it, including us. Syncs across your devices.

👥 Group: members only

Encrypted with a per-group key that only group members can derive. No key is transmitted.

🌐 Public: all mutual contacts

Visible to anyone who shares at least one group with you and the subject. Good for shared reference info: links, roles, preferences.

What you can write

Free text notes
Any length personal memo: context from a conversation, a reminder for next meeting, personal impressions.

Phone numbers & emails
Store additional contact details that belong to a specific group context, not the main contact profile.

Links & social handles
Save a GitHub, LinkedIn, or any other link attached to the context of a specific group.

Dates & reminders
Attach a date to any note: useful for tracking when you last spoke, or noting an upcoming deadline.

Syncs across all your devices

Private notes are encrypted on your device with a key tied to your account. Sign in on a new phone and access is restored automatically, no setup needed.
